Become a member of a board or committee! File an application and resume' with the town clerk and indicate the board or committee in which you are interested. The Town Council appoints members of most town-related boards.

Additional Information

The Town is always looking for volunteer assistance to help during emergencies.  For most volunteer positions, no experience is needed.

Emergency Operations Center (EOC)

Volunteers are needed for the EOC. If you have an amateur radio license you can become part of the EOC Communications Team.  We also have needs in the Internet Public Information (IPI) team who disseminated information via the Web and Social Media

Medical Emergency Distribution System (MEDS)

In the unlikely event of the need to do mass medication or preventative actions to the Town, we have a MEDS to help with our medical Point of Dispensing (POD). Medical training, although a plus, is not needed to be a volunteer.
