Only Portsmouth residents can generate the sort of solid waste that is accepted at the Transfer Station.

The town establishes the fee by projecting the minimum user fee to cover the town’s costs. All money collected will be deposited in a town-managed Enterprise Fund to provide the money needed to pay for the town’s solid waste and recycling program.

Remove your old resident sticker and throw it away. It has no further use. Affix your new sticker to the upper right hand corner of your windshield (passenger’s side) underneath the tint.
