As the RI Energy construction team continue to work on the electric transmission project, they’re entering the phase of the project where there will be increased work at the jetties (Portsmouth & Tiverton). The jetty work will ramp up starting this week and continue into 2026 (most likely end in spring of 2026).
With the location being near/at the water I believe there’s the potential of increased calls and inquiries related to noise and curiosity. The team is very aware and sensitive to the previous inquiries and concerns related to noise and will do what they can to limit any impacts.
